David Allen
Talk to the right people –
David Allen is passionate about helping people who suffer injury. His grounding is in the insurance industry. In his early 20s he became the youngest claims supervisor for CNA insurance. David handled over 20,000 claims before attending law school and developed strong insight as to how insurance companies operate. When he attended law school he focused on the courses which would assist him in representing persons who suffered injury, disability or were being badly treated by insurance companies. He was recognized for outstanding ability in trial advocacy and helped the state of California draft its policies on legal advertising.
To a large extent the passion David Allen brings to representing people who suffer injury, disability or who are attempting to get a fair recovery from their insurance company arises from his child hood experience in Wisconsin.
His father was a mill worker with a sixth grade education who suffered a severe back injury. He saw him struggle with the injury throughout his life and saw the difficulties he confronted in attempting to provide for his family and carry on a normal life. Growing up in a working class small town, he frequently witnessed the plight of people around him attempting to get fair treatment when injured.
David Allen graduated from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, and did post graduate work at Harvard Law School. After graduation from law school he worked for another law firm exclusively handling personal injury cases and taking them to trial. He founded David Allen & Associates in 1980.
Today David Allen is the principal attorney in a law firm that prides itself on bringing legal help to people who confront difficulties arising from injury or disability.
